Aspen Dental sought to move beyond digital experimentation and establish AI as a standard clinical support tool across its 1,100+ supported practices. Dentists needed better ways to communicate findings to patients and ensure consistent diagnostic review across a large, distributed network.

Aspen Dental completed a nationwide rollout of VideaHealth's clinical AI platform across more than 1,100 supported practices in six weeks, following many months of piloting and preparation. The platform integrates into existing radiographic workflows, adding AI-supported annotations to radiographs to help dentists show and explain findings to patients with greater visual clarity.

Pilot practices observed a 12% increase in treatment acceptance following implementation. Earlier patient intervention was also noted, with patients accepting care before oral health conditions progressed. The rollout reinforced clinical consistency across the network while preserving full dentist autonomy over diagnosis and treatment planning.
