The health system deployed an ambient AI documentation program that assisted providers in capturing clinical notes during appointments, reducing manual documentation effort. The solution was piloted across providers with varying levels of adoption.

Providers who used the tool for more than 40% of their appointments saw a 29% decrease in average minutes spent on notes per appointment and per day. High utilizers also increased monthly appointments by 7% and achieved a higher level of service. All participating providers indicated they wished to continue using the solution after the pilot.
